Formerly CEO of LawtechUK, a government-backed initiative to transform the legal sector through tech, she appears in the Women in Fintech Powerlist, GC Legal 500 PowerList, 2019 Most Influential Women in Payments, British Legal Awards’ Individual of the Year, and Chambers Global 100 most influential General Counsel. Jenifer is a mother to 2 boys, is passionate about equality and human well-being, and supports a range of pro bono and industry initiatives.

Catriona is a Partner and Director of Product and Innovation at Weightmans and ensures delivery of products and innovation that are aligned to client needs and Weightmans’ overall strategy. She is an accidental lawyer and fell into innovation, growing an award-winning team. Catriona is always learning and is particularly interested in the skills of future lawyers but is unsure on the Metaverse. Catriona has co-authored a book about innovation in law firms, which includes all the practical aspects she wished she had known about at the start of her innovation ‘journey’ (including how long it takes to write a book). Catriona is a lover of trashy TV.

Catherine Bamford

Catherine Bamford is the CEO and Founder of BamLegal, a legal technology consultancy. She was named by the Financial Times as a Top Ten Legal Technologist, has won a European Women in Law Tech award and was listed as a Women of Legal Tech Honoree by the American Bar Association.
Catherine’s company, BamLegal, helps law firms and in-house legal departments improve the delivery of their legal services through the smart application of technology. BamLegal’s clients include most of the world’s largest law firms, such as Dentons, DLA Piper, Hogan Lovells, Linklaters and Latham & Watkins, as well as inhouse teams, new law businesses and technology companies.

Amongst many roles, Catherine was previously a lawyer at Pinsent Masons, an investor in and non-exec board member of Wavelength Law before it was sold successfully to Simmons and Simmons, and a Director in Legal Engineering at Deloitte Legal.

On top of being CEO of BamLegal, Catherine is currently an investor in several Legal Tech companies. She also teaches and mentors law students about the future of law.
