Abhijat Saraswat is the VP of International Business at Litera. In his role, he has helped some of the most prestigious and largest international firms gain access to legal solutions that help their lawyers create higher quality work, faster.

Abhijat was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015. Abhijat has worked for a number of large multi-national corporations across a range of sectors, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and Neuroscience from the University of Keele, UK.

As a legal technologist, Abhijat frequently attends and speaks at conferences and trade shows, and he is the host of the popular Fringe Legal Podcast.

Charlie is a senior dispute resolution lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills and leads the firm’s Digital Law Group in the UK (a group of specialist lawyers providing legal, strategic and practical advice to clients in relation to their biggest and most important digital transformation projects).

Charlie helps clients effectively and efficiently resolve complex international disputes across a broad range of jurisdictions. He has particular expertise in the energy and technology sectors. Charlie is a member of the IBA/ICCA task force on data protection in international arbitration, the London Court of International Arbitration Working Groups on data protection and platforming and he also chairs a cross-firm working group on LegalTech adoption in international arbitration.

Maria is a Senior Associate in DLA Piper’s Litigation and Arbitration team in London, specialising in International Arbitration. Maria’s experience includes disputes related to gas pricing, joint venture agreements, and other commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on disputes in the energy sector, as well as matters of contractual interpretation and claims of fraud or misrepresentation. Maria has represented clients before leading arbitration institutions such as the LCIA, ICC and SCC and in proceedings before the High Court of England and Wales. Maria is a member of the cross-firm working group on LegalTech Adoption in International Arbitration.

Kushal is a partner in the Finance Disputes team in London, and specialises in Finance and FinTech dispute resolution. He is an experienced litigation and international arbitration practitioner who is recognised by Legal500 as a Next Generation Partner for international arbitration. He is also an active member of the CMS India Desk. Kushal regularly assists clients to navigate complex issues, including cross-border disputes. He also helps develop risk mitigation strategies and obtain emergency relief from Courts and Tribunals.

Myfanwy Wood is a senior international arbitration practitioner at Ashurst with a broad practice and particular expertise in global energy disputes, including the oil and gas sector, and African related disputes. She also has experience in other markets including Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Myfanwy represents a range of global clients and is successful in running large, high value and technically complex disputes.
Myfanwy advises in relation to commercial arbitration, investor state disputes, other cross-border disputes (including litigation) and public international law. Myfanwy has a range of experience with major institutional rules and ad hoc arbitration. Myfanwy is a YIAG regional representative for the LCIA and also holds a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Cambridge where she was a Davis McCaughey scholar.
